Trial in the action of ex-finance minister Zeinulla Kakimzhanov to the Internet portal Ratel.kz will begin on 16 January. Zeinulla Kakimzhanov demands retraction of 9 articles and redress for the non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 20 million tenge.

Main hearings of the case of the editor-in-chief of newspaper “Central Asia Monitor” and director of the internet-portal “Radiotochka.kz” Bigelgy Gabdullin will begin in Astana on 17 January.

Pre-trial hearings on Bigelgy Gabdullin’s case are called for 11 January in Astana.
