Journalists were deprived of all audio and video equipment before meeting with the new head of Aqmola region

Introductory meeting of the new akim (head) of Aqmola region Malik Murzalin with media took place at 10 AM on  April 3. police carefully checked the invited journalists with a metal detector at the entrance to the local administration building, and then asked to give away all electronic gadgets. Journalists tried to refer to the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the media", but the security was adamant. As the result, the press handed over to police all devices used for audio, photo, video recording.

Moreover  the correspondent of the republican newspaper “Express K” for  the Aqmola region Nurzhan Baimuldin was not allowed to attend the meeting at all. On April 1, the representative of the Aqmola regional central communications service, Shanghi Golubeva called the correspondent and invited him to come to M. Mursalin’s meeting with media on April 3 at 10:00 AM.

On the appointed day the correspondent came to the building of the regional akimat (local administration), but the police did not find his name is the list of invited journalists. The policemen apologized, but denied to let the journalist in.

It is known that the meeting was attended by all representatives of the republican media.
