Two cars of "Hyperborey" Youtube channel cameraman burned down in Almaty

On February 20 about 3 AM, two cars of the cameraman of Vadim Boreiko’s   Youtube channel "Hyperborey" burned down:- a 1999 Audi and a 1987 Jeep Nissan. There are no surveillance cameras at the entrance of the cameraman’s house. Though a dull bang was heard before the cars caught fire. Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. The  cameraman stayed  at Turksib district police   station till almost 5 AM.Vadim Boreiko, the author of the Youtube channel, also visited the scene of the incident and the police station that night. He reminded the police officers of the recent incident when unknown persons sealed the door of his apartment with polyurethane foam.

In the morning, investigators, forensic experts, employees of the department for combating terrorism, representatives of the Turksib District Administration and the Almaty City Police Department came to the cameraman's house.

The Almaty Police Department reported on a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Art. 202 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (intentional destruction or damage to someone else's property) and of a judicial fire-technical examination.

The work of the channel "Hyperborey" is temporarily suspended, the cameraman is on indefinite paid leave.
