Court has made ruling Printing houses could print newspaper “Respublika” free of charge It was impossible to disseminate it

There was a new stage of counteraction between Medeu District Court of Almaty and newspaper “Respublika- Delovoye Obozrenie”.
In September 2009 court has bound staff of the newspaper “Respublika” to recover 60000000 tenge ($40540) as moral damage to “BTA-Bank”. They spoke to each other about installment payment. On February 08, 2010 law officer Makhmut Sadykov referred to expire date of debt (it meant on January 29, 2010). He made ruling about stoppage of issue of the newspaper. It was dismissed on February 16, 2010.
On February 09, 2010 Judge of Medeu District Court of Almaty D. Makhmetova dismissed her ruling, which was made a week ago.
On February 18, 2010 Chief Editor of the newspaper “Respublika- Delovoye Obozrenie” Guzal Baydalinova received a new ruling of Medeu District Department of Administrator of Courts of Almaty. It was signed by Makhmut Sadykov. As a result of it there was ban to dissemination of editions of the newspaper “Respublika- Delovoye Obozrenie”.
On February 23, 2010 Head of Department of Administration of Courts of Almaty Nasyp Kenzhebekova said about new ruling, made by Medeu District Court of Almaty at press conference. It was done by request of M. Sadykov. Printing houses should made money transfer to account of Administrator of Courts of Almaty; could make publication of the newspaper “Respublika- Delovoye Obozrenie” at their loss.
