Control of printing and publication of newspaper “Respublika” was continued

A printing house of Karaganda printed issue of the newspaper “Moya Respublika” on February 19, 2010. Director of printing house was invited for significant talk to City Administration after publication of the newspaper.
Editorial staff of the newspaper “Respublika” printing house of Karaganda was banned to print this edition in the future.
None of the printing houses of the Republic of Kazakhstan could work with this newspaper. It was connected with prosecutions. Printing House “Kometa S” was faced to it. Copies of the newspaper were made on office equipment, published and pinned with the help of stapler.
On February 17, 2010 editorial staff of the newspaper requested to Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov, State Secretary- Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev, Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kayrat Mami, Head of Administration of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aslan Musin, Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin and Minister of Culture of Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kul-Mukhamed. It reiterated its appeal for support of free publication of newspapers “Golos Respubliki” and “Moya Respublika” in any printing house of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It should be necessary to make information on lack of ban for printing of these editions; printing houses of the Republic of Kazakhstan could make their output without pressure upon them on side of law-enforcement organs.
