Bank of Development of Kazakhstan made a claim against newspaper “Vremya” for one milliard tenge

On June 01, 2009 Bank of Development of Kazakhstan has addressed to Zhetysu District Court of Almaty with suit about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation to the newspaper “Vremya”. Bank servicemen demand recovery of one milliard tenge as moral damage and publication of refutation.
The charges stemmed from article “Cardboard penetration”, published on April 09, 2009. There was information on spent money, which was allocated by Bank of Development of Kazakhstan.
There was preliminary conversation in Zhetysu District Court of Almaty on June 11, 2009.
