General Prosecutor’s Office is going to close TV Company “ART”

Regional Prosecutor’s Office has brought a suit on Caraganda TV Company “ART” to court. Supervisory Board is going to demand recalling a license from TV Channel for broadcasting.
The charges stemmed from information “Kazakhs people, join to us and let’s we beat Russians” in SMS-chat of TV Company “ART”. There was a reply “We are ready!” in fifteen minutes.
The staff of TV Company does not deny that employees had to control all coming SMS-messages and after that “on-air”. They have made inadmissible negligence. Employees of TV Company were taken off the work. But, employees of Regional Prosecutor’s Office have addressed to court.
The first legal proceeding will be held on May 21, 2009.
