Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan has closed magazine “Director kz”

On May 14, 2009 Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan has taken a decision about annulment of certificate registration of the magazine “Director kz”. Chief Specialist of Caraganda Regional Department of Internal Policy Dinara Akisheva has said about it to founder of the magazine LLP “Avatar-Media”. She has said that it was connected with delay of next issue of the magazine more for three months by editorial staff. It did not provide control copy of last issue of the magazine. Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan thought that it was violation of law “On Mass Media”.

Head of LLP “Avatar-Media” Barlyk Almagambetov says that control copies have been sent in time. Last issue of the magazine was published in February 2009. New issue was done and planned for publication in May. Head of LLP “Avatar-Media” Barlyk Almagambetov has said that there was no any violation of law.
