Journalists of Taraz ask for Chairman of Supreme Court put a place in order in courts of Zhambyl region

Proper correspondents of republican editions and chief editors of regional newspapers have carried out press conference in Taraz. They have adopted appeal to Chairman of Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kayrat Mami.
There was a text of appeal:
There were searches of lawyers, human rights activists and journalists in regional court last time. Women are put to detailed search. These searches are carried out by court enforcement officers and security officers. The court has been become as unassailable fortress for journalists. Court enforcement officers have forbidden to journalists present at open court sessions, prevented implementation of professional activity.
Every citizen has right to present any open court process, but discriminatory restrictions are put in only in relation to journalists. Representatives of mass media can go to court with preliminary permission of staff court, if there are concrete cases, presided by case in accordance with rule of internal order of Zhambyl regional court. Journalists can not take audio, video and photo equipment; mobile telephones and other electronic and technical tools with themselves in court without staff permission. It is essential professional equipment of media outlets.

They have addressed to Chairman of Supreme Court and asked to give back principle of transparency of court system and respect to media outlets
