International Foundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech “Adil soz”, International Association for Protection of Freedom of Expression IFEX, Foundation of Conrad Adenauer, Public Association “Journalists”, Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan and National Association of Independent Mass Media of Tajikistan have made continuation of:
Central Asian Contest of Publications “Free - about freedom of speech”
Staff and free-lance correspondents of the mass media can become participants of the contest. There are any styles: feature, interview, article, journalistic investigation.
Themes of contest:
Essential condition: materials should to be published in any mass media: newspaper, magazine, radio, TV, Internet website and blog.
Criterions of estimation:
· New view for problem.
· Competence and specificity.
· Analytical approach to theme.
· Significance of statement.
The contest is held from September 08, 2008 till April 15, 2009.
Results of contest will be announced on May 03, 2009 in World Day of Protection of Press.
There are awards for winners.
1st place - 150000 tenge.
2nd place – 100000 tenge.
3rd place - 70000 tenge.
The book of best publications will be published by results of the contest.
