Journalist Lukpan Akhmedyarov does not agree to information on his repentance

At the end of January 2009 mass media of the Republic of Kazakhstan have made a report on journalist of TV Channel “TDK-42” (Uralsk) Lukpan Akhmedyarov. He has asked for akim of West Kazakhstan region Baktykozha Izmukhambetov about participation of his relatives in assimilation of budgeting funds as in last year. After press conference Lukpan Akhmedyarov was called by Director of TV Channel “TDK-42” Serik Mergaliyev. He has twitted him for non-correct question, addressed to akim. Serik Mergaliyev has said that Bakhtykozha Izmuhambetov phoned to him. He has said that Mergaliyev had very serious conversation to him. After that Lukpan Akhmedyarov was dismissed.

On February 12, 2009 General Director of PLC “Zhayik Press” Shyngys Mukan has addressed to the foundation “Adil soz” with the letter. He said that regional akim had no any relation to dismissal of Lukpan Akhmedyarov. Baktykozha Izmukhambetov is one of the open and ready akims for mass media.

On February 16, 2009 News Agency “Interfax-Kazakhstan” distributed information on scandalous journalist from West Kazakhstan has confessed that he asked to akim non-correct question. It was done solely from hooligan motives. Lukpan Akhmedyarov has agreed to officials from akimat. They have thought that his question had been wrong. Lukpan Akhmedyarov has not been sure that Bakhtykozha Izmuhambetov had relation to his dismissal and Lukpan Akhmedyarov has not been sure that Bakhtykozha Izmuhambetov phoned to Serik Mergaliyev.
