There will be no deportation for Zlatoslava Bliznyuk
On May 6, the Nur-Sultan city court overturned the decision on arrest and following deportation of Ukrainian citizen Zlatoslava Bliznyuk. Instead, the Court of Appeal decided to fine her for 45,945 tenge.
The only fault of the girl was that she reposted information about the rally in support of Ukraine in her closed social network account. At that she deleted it when she found out that the event was not agreed with the local authorities.
It should be minded that Zlatoslava was accused of organizing the rally and was tried twice for it. The first time the court found her innocent due to the lack of corpus delicti, the second time she was arrested for 10 days and ordered to be deported to warring Ukraine.
The lawyers demanded a full acquittal, arguing that the primary court had committed gross violations of procedural and substantive law. A number of human rights organizations of the country issued a statement about the illegality of the conviction and the inadmissibility of deportation.
But ... It's good that Zlatoslava is free, and our country will not deport her.
