Gulzada Ismurziyeva was vindicated from the charge of libel

July 26 Atyrau city court number 2 vindicated a civil society activist Gulzada Ismurzieva from the charge of libel (art. 130 of the Criminal Code), as private prosecutor, the chief specialist of Department of Public Health of Atyrau regional Health Committee Suleimen Aubekerov withdrew his complaint

Previously S. Aubekerov had stated that in her comlaint to the prosecutor of Atyrau region civil society activist had dissminated false information by accusing him is committing a serious corruption offense – suspected bribery.

Gulzada Ismurzieva had disagreed with the conclusions of the Department of Health Commission, namely of the main specialist S.Aubekerov and specialist G.Kayralieva that her claims agianst the clinic "Dostarmed-Atyrau"were groundless and appealed to the regional prosecutor G.I.Togyzbaev with the request to assist in the appointment of another independent reviewing officer. In this complaint she wrote that her "suspicions of suspeted bribery intensified".

This assumption, stated in the appeal to the official, caused a counter accusation of libel.

It is noteworthy that two days after the filing of the individual apeal to the court Gulzada Ismurzieva received an official letter from the assistant to the regional prosecutor E.Edilbayev. He wrote that repeat inspection confirmed the medical error and court ruling was issued with the regared of the head of the medical clininc and the doctor was brought to administrative responsibility.
