Trial of Ruslan Ginatullin Did he want to condemn or incite social enmity

From July 05, 2016 inhabitant of PavlodarRuslan Ginatullin was taken into custody. He was charged with incitement of national enmity under article 174 p.1 of Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Earlier, on March 11, 2016 he posted reference on his personal page in social network “VKontakte”. There was reference to video materials “Russia who does not skip the skibby (Russian Nazis) and on April 23, 2016 “Ukraine, war, body bag 200”, posted in open access on YouTube.

The charge rested upon expert report of an expert of the Center of Forensic Expertise of Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan; expert thought that “semantic component of words in two video materials had signs of incitement”.

His lawyer Baurzhan Azanov thought that it was unjustified charge. In his words, Ruslan Ginatullin is dedicated pacifist, he stands for interethnic concord. Ruslan Ginatullin posted reference to disreputable video materials that citizens should pay their attention to reprehensibility of such actions.

The trial will be held on November 22, 2016.
