Wife of Seitkazy Matayev feared for the life of her husband
The journalist Bayan Ramakhanova is a wife of Chairman of Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan Seitkazy Matayev. She applied for Prosecutor-General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhakip Asanov. On August 30, 2016 she wrote in blog of Prosecutor-General of the Republic of Kazakhstan the following:
She concluded that all organization of the investigation and trial on a false charge of her husband Seitkazy Matayev with embezzlement of public funds and evasion of the payment of taxes aimed at incitement to death of her husband. He expressed his willingness using figures and facts in his hands to prove all absurdity of charges which were brought against him during fair and open trial. Seitkazy needs in normal health. But, court and prosecutorial office pursued back goals. During investigation, Anti-Corruption Bureau interfered Seitkazy that he could visit doctors. His lawyers filed a petition that S. Matayev could visit health care facilities from 03 to August 23, 2016. On August 09, 2016 judge A. Kurmantayev did not grant petition “in the absence of grounds”. On August 23, 2016 in first day of major court hearing, Seitkazy was sent to the hospital. Hewasdiagnosedwithhypertensioncrisis.
On August 29, 2016 lawyers of S. Matayev filed a petition that court hearings would be held from morning till midday, in order to avoid aggravation. The judge has left open the question; Seitkazy was again sent into a hospital by dinner time.
Her husband S. Matayev intended to fight for his honest name and win. They asked to change his housing conditions that she could care for him, healthy nutrition and access to physicians. Theygotarefusal.
Struth! Did financial policemen really decide to beat to death her husband under the passive eye of court and prosecutor’s office? She asked Prosecutor-General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhakip Asanov not to admit death of her husband.
