Committee for Support of Seitkazy Matayev was created in Kazakhstan

The Committee for Support of Seitkazy Matayev was created in Kazakhstan. During meeting in Almaty eminent persons of journalism of Kazakhstan decided it. The Committee for Support of Seitkazy Matayev aimed at wide information of the public for assistance of fair and open investigation of case of Chairman of Union of Journalist of Kazakhstan Seitkazy Matayev. The Committee consisted of famous journalists of Kazakhstan. There were Tamara Kaleyeva, Marzhan Elshibaeva, Alexander Krasner, Ermurat Bapi, Yuri Mizinov, Zhumadil Adilbaev and etc. Tamara Kaleyeva and Marzhan Elshibaeva were chosen as co-chairmen of committee. The Committee consisted of some famous and eminent journalists and media managers from regions of Kazakhstan and also, their colleagues from countries near and far abroad. In particularly, General Director of Atyrau Media Holding “Ak-Zhaiyk” Abdilda Mukashev, Chief Editor of the Newspaper “Ak-Zhaiyk” Sabyr Kairhanov; editorial staff of the newspaper “Uralskaya Nedelya” (“Ural’s Week”), western and  Russian-based journalists and partners from Central Asian countries indicated their willingness to support Seitkazy Matayev. In the near future, Committee is going to conduct some campaigns of journalistic solidarity in Almaty and Astana and oblasts of Kazakhstan.
