There was pressure upon chairmen of branches of Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan

The Committee for Support of Seitkazy Matayev informed, that investigative officers of National Bureau of Anti-Corruption (Financial Police) began to call heads of branches of branches of Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan in for questioning because of their appeal to the President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbaev. They applied for him to take investigative process with regard to Chairman of Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan Seitkazy Matayev under control. In particularly on March 05, 2016 investigative officers of National Bureau of Anti-Corruption (Financial Police) served summon (in particularly, it was dated 08 March, 2016 at 12.00 a.m.) to the Chairman of Astana Branch of Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, famous Kazakhstan’s journalist Magzhan Sadykhan. They did not explain why interrogation should be conducted on March 08, 2016.
