Participation of large international companies in EXPO – 17 will be depend on dropping of prosecution with regard to Seitkazy Matayev

According to information of media holding Deutche Welle (Germany) Participation of large international companies in EXPO – 2017 will be depend on dropping of prosecution with regard to Chairman of Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Seitkazy Matayev.

Expert of Central Asia (Russian Federation) Arkadiy Dubnov says: “I also, know that, authoritative American senators are informed about this matter and they express their deep concern around situation in Kazakhstan. Ultimately, under the threat of failure participation of large companies and high guests in the World Exhibition EXPO – 2017. The case of Matayev did not agree with plan, in order to introduce to guests Kazakhstan as flagship of Eurasia”.  
It was reported, that, the same statement was made by Ex-Deputy of the Bundestag Viola von Cramon. The Expert of CIS-Countries of Party “Alliance’ 90/The Greens”, Ex-Deputy of the Bundestag Viola von Cramon has acknowledged the last thesis in her interview to media holding Deutche Welle (Germany). “From point of view “of the greens”, participation of German delegations in EXPO-2017 will be depended on release of Matayev.  The Conception of EXPO in Kazakhstan has concrete technologies of “the greens” and western companies which develop these technologies, they usually, take cognizance of position of “the greens”.

Having saying that, situation with prosecution of S. Matayev was discussed during OSCE’ Parliamentary Assembly.

However, state officials, probably, did not take into account all consequences of pressure upon Seitkazy Matayev. Persons, who attempted to protect freedom of speech in Kazakhstan, they rose this matter to higher international level. The question was asked concretely to Head of Delegation of Kazakhstan, Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during OSCE’ Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna. He did not know about situation around S. Matayev, but promised to solve a problem.  

Unions of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia intended to support an appeal of heads regional branches of Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan. The appeal was sent to the President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbaev.  Except for it, residents of Europe and the USA introduce with “details of this case”.
