Journalist was attacked in building of court of Almaty

The correspondent of informburo.kz Maria Gareeva was attacked in Medeu District Court of Almaty on October 30, 2015. She has covered a trial on criminal case which was opened with regard to Ex-Director of Almaty Underground Railway Systems Murat Ukshebaev, who was charged with fraud of lump sum. 

After closure of trial, Maria Gareeva made a photo of the accused persons, who went out of court room on her tablet. Informburo.kz informed, that a man who went behind, resented photos, began to scrap, push roughly, thresh her arms; he took her tablet. A man, who attacked Maria Gareeva he introduced as a relative of one of the accused persons. He removed photos which were made by Maria Gareeva. She said, that secretary of judge, policemen, lawyers and other persons, who attended this trial, they looked after it.  

Maria said about her intention to file a complaint with police, in order to bring a man, who attacked her to responsibility.
