"United Media" Magazine "ADAM" was closed according to court decision There was suit filed by Prosecutor's Office

Medeu District Court of Almaty has satisfied suit of District Prosecutor's Office on acknowledgement of magazine "ADAM", "ADAMbol" and, also electronic version of magazine "ADAM"in social network as "united media" and suspended publication of magazine "ADAM". According to court decision, certificate of registration of magazine in Committee of Informatization and Information of Ministry of Investments and Development. 

We would like to remind you, that ruling of Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court (Almaty) came into effect on September 25, 2015; it was given by suit of Department of Internal Policy (Almaty) which suspended it publication during three months. Journalists of magazine "ADAM" posted their prepared materials in social network Facebook. They did not want to lose their audience and inform their readers about prepared materials. On October 08, 2015 Prosecutor of Medeu District of Almaty M. Bashybaev has filed a suit to court. The suit of prosecutor had following information, that editor-in-chief Ayan Sharipbaev did not remove causes of suspension, he did not re-register it. In opinion of editorial staff, it could not be charged with it, because time for suspension of publication, when it was necessary to correct a violation did not elapse.  

Except for it, publication of printed matter of magazine "ADAM" should be suspended, according to ruling of Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court (Almaty). The ruling of Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court (Almaty) had no any ban on other version of magazine (in particular, electronic one), there were no any violations on the side of editorial staff of magazine.   

The Prosecutor of Medeu District of Almaty M. Bashybaev in his suit, also asked to prohibit editorial staff of magazine "ADAM" and other persons its publication, dissemination and electronic version. It was done in order to provide this statement of claim at once, before judgement.  

On October 09, 2015 court has satisfied statement of claim of  Prosecutor of Medeu District of Almaty M. Bashybaev.
