Editor-in-chief and owner of edition "Zhuldyzdar otbasy ("Family of Stars")Anyz adam" ("Man of Legend") were fined for spread of materials which execused extremism

On July 30, 2014 Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court of Almaty has returned guilty editor-in-chief of magazine "Zhuldyzdar otbasy ("Family of Stars")Anyz adam" ("Man of Legend") Zharylkap Kalybai and owner of the edition LLP "Izdatelstvo Otbasy" ("Editorial Office Family") in spread of materials which execused extremism under p.2 article 344 of Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The court has imposed fine on editor-in-chief of the magazine and owner of edition; they were fined on fifteen and seventy monthly calculation indices consequently.
We would remind you, that this trial was initiated by representatives of Administration Office of Department of Internal Affairs of Almaty. The charges originated from infamous April issue of magazine which was devoted to private and political life of Adolf Hitler and ambiguity of sense of his figure of different people.
The editor-in-chief stated, that purpose of these materials about Adolf Hitler has been a presentation of his formation stage, like leader of Nazi Germany, demise of his ideas for mankind. The Expert of Center of Forensic Expertise under Ministry of Justice N. Mukanova has determined, that one of the materials of magazine "Zhuldyzdar otbasy ("Family of Stars")Anyz adam" ("Man of Legend") under title “Adolf Hitler – is not a fascist” had signs of excuse of extremism. In their turn, specialist-linguist, Candidate of Philological Sciences Rakhilya Karymsakova and specialist in the sphere of Kazakh language Ayauzhan Tausogarova made their expert study of articles, they concluded, that articles of magazine "Zhuldyzdar otbasy ("Family of Stars")Anyz adam" ("Man of Legend")№ 8, 2014 had no signs of excuse of extremism.
It is worthy of note that application of defendant for carrying out of repeated expert examination in the Center of Forensic Expertise under Ministry of Justice was satisfied at previous trial. It was impossibe to carry out such expert examination, because Center of Forensic Expertise under Ministry of Justice needed in specialists.
