From day to day, Senate of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan will pass Criminal, Criminal Procedural, Penal Codes and Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The future vote of members of Majilis (Low Chamber) of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a mere formality in reality. These laws will seriously prejudice our constitutional rights - to freedom of associations, freedom of faith, freedom of speech and creation, liberty of person, integrity of dignity of the person and etc.
The civil society failed all efforts, in order to bring norms of new codes into line with constitutional guarantees. Now, we have the last hope for our President of Kazakhstan, who will can put a veto on these codes.
The Coalition of Kazakhstan's NGOs (in particular, public foundation "Adil Soz" is a member of Coalition) has made an appeal to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Please, read it.
