The access to website of newspaper "Uralskaya Nedelya" (West Kazakhstan) http://www.uralskweek.kz was troubled from April 12, 2014. Subscribers of JSC "Kazakhtelecom" and Kcell have serious problems with access.
The editor-in-chief of newspaper "Uralskaya Nedelya" Lukpan Akhmedyarov filed a complaint with joint-stock company "Kcell". Subscribers of this cellular service operator had problems with access to website www.uralskweek.kz. The Senior Representative of JSC "Kcell" Kaysar Kozhakhmetov in his telephone conversation said, that website was blocked in actual fact; mobile communications provider did not restrict access to Internet-resources. "It is blocked by JSC "Kazakhtelecom", that's why you should address to there – Kozhakhmetov explains.
In social network Facebook, editor-in-chief of newspaper "Uralskaya Nedelya" Lukpan Akhmedyarov has left applicable question on a wall of JSC "Kazakhtelecom". There was a response on it: "Kazakhtelecom KT: Unfortunately, functional capabilities of this account do not let to obtain this control operatively. It is in central office of our company".
Lukpan Akhmedyarov supposes, that website of newspaper "Uralskaya Nedelya" (West Kazakhstan) http://www.uralskweek.kz was blocked because of publication of information on Antieurasian Forum on April 12, 2014 in Almaty. The information portal Azattyk informed, that numerous materials on various Kazakhstan resources, concerning Antieurasian Forum had been out of access for users of provider "Megaline" which owned to company "Kazakhtelecom". These materials were accessible in Internet-systems of mobile communications provider Kcell, Beeline, Altel.
