On March 03, 2014 International Foundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech "Adil Soz" and Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan have sent a letter to Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Speaker of Majilis (Low Chamber) of Parliament and Akim (Governor) of Almaty. It was connected with anti-constitutional restrictions of freedom of speech from local authority. "In our letter we asked representatives of akimat to post a list of controlled enterprises of media business and correct it with decree of President of Kazakhstan of moratorium on control of subjects of small and medium business".
