Newspaper "Tribuna – Sayasat Alany" may be wasted

The retiree colonel Kuspabay Zhampeisov has brought claim against independent newspaper "Tribuna – Sayasat Alany". He demanded recovery of KZT3000000 (1USD=155.94) as moral damage compensation.
It was connected with interview which Zhampeisov gave to free-lance correspondent of the newspaper. The correspondent used words "What on earth is this? We have such mentality in order to dominate, plunder Kazakhstan's people and relish the opportunity" from direct speech of the interviewed Zhampeisov in the title "Mentality of our state authority – is domination, plundering of Kazakhstan's people, carpe diem".
After publication of article Zhampeisov demanded to publish a disclaimer and revision of quotation. In October 2013, editorial staff has fulfilled the demand of Zhampeisov in full force and effect; it did not hurt him to apply to court.
On January 29, 2014 Judge of Almalinsk District Court № 2 of Almaty Daulet Arkinov has held pre-trial discussion with representatives of plaintiff and defendant. The open lawsuit, according to suit will be held on February 04, 2014.
We would remind you that in September, 2013 publication of newspaper "Tribuna – Sayasat Alany" was suspended during three months because of dubious allegation in violation of periodicity of publication of the printed matter, owner of edition sole proprietorship "Alan Zhurt" was fined one hundred monthly assessment indicies.
