Dispute between teacher and newspaper "Zamana" was settled amicably

A teacher of one of the institutions of Shymkent Nariman Nurpeisov has filed a suit against newspaper "Zamana" about protection of honour, dignity and business reputation to Enbekshi District Court. The charges originated from article "We are shocked, when he asked 70000KZT from diploma students" (1USD=153.38), published in the newspaper "Zamana" on July 22, 2013. It was based on a letter from group of students. There was a mention of teacher by the name of Nariman. Neither surname of this employee, nor title of this institution was mentioned in article. Nariman Nurpeisov thought, that he was a person in question just about him. Nurpeisov said, that he suffered moral, ethical and physical pains and insisted on recovery of KZT10000000.
During a trial, plaintiff added his claims, held a demand against article "Complaint against dean", published in the newspaper "Zamana" on December 10, 2012. This article was made and based on a letter of students of Philology Department of South Kazakhstan Oblast State Pedagogical Institute.
On a trial, on November 22, 2013 parties came to amicable agreement. Editorial staff of the newspaper"Zamana" should publish a disclaimer: "Published information in the article had no concern with higher-education teaching personnel"of South Kazakhstan Oblast State Pedagogical Institute.
The Head of Public Center of Expertise over Information Disputes of Foundation "Adil Soz" Galiya Azhenova gave a consultancy support to newspaper "Zamana".
