Journalists covered action near Almaty City Court They were detained during two and half hours

On November 20, 2013 from 10.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. near building of Almaty City Court policemen detained three journalists. There were: reporter of television channel 16/12 Andrey Tsukanov, correspondent of Internet-project "Koz Ashu" Dmitriy Tschelokov and editor of the website www.bureau.kz Andrey Sviridov. They came up there, in order to cover an action "For Justice" and made some photos of facade of a building of Almaty City Court and people, who stood, before porch.
Inspite of it, that media workers showed their journalistic service certificate, they were sent to the District Department of Internal Affairs (Almalinsk District) and were detained during two and half hours.
However, policemen, who detained them did not expain motives of their detention, they refused to introduce themselves. Policemen cancelled daily rashes of Dmitriy Tschelokov, attempted to take a photocamera of A. Sviridov by force. Two and half hours later, Andrey Tsukanov, Dmitriy Tschelokov and Andrey Sviridov were released; policemen did not either explain reasons of interference to their professional activity.
Andrey Tsukanov, Dmitriy Tschelokov and Andrey Sviridov filed a complaint with General Prosecutor's Office and Internal Investigations Division under Department of Internal Affairs (Almaty).
