Output of newspaper “Tribune” was suspended during three months

On September 23, 2013 Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court of Almaty has suspended the issue of newspaper “Tribune” during three months. The owner of publication, individual enterprise “Alan Zhurt” (“Territory for General Public”) was punished by a fine in an amount up to one hundred monthly assessment indices in other words more than KZT150000 (1USD=153.81).
The lawsuit was initiated by Department of Internal Policy of Almaty. The editorial staff was charged with violation of period of issue, in accordance with article 342 p.4 of Code of Administrative Offences
In July, 2013 editorial staff has taken a break. They made an announcement in the newspaper, prior to their break, but they did not inform about it and did not send special letter (in particular, in written form) to the authorized body.
