Residents of Kyzyl-Orda have given support to journalists of television channel “Kogam TV” and newspaper “KOMU? CHTO?”

On June 14, 2013 Kyzyl-Orda City Court has dismissed a suit about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation of the Former Chairman of Cooperative of Apartment Owners “Evrika” Marat Kuanyshbayev which was filed against television channel “Kogam TV” and newspaper “KOMU?” CHTO?” Bayan Kultanova and Nataliya Denisova.
The charges originated from materials which were published in February. There was information on meeting of tenants of some houses on Aytbayev street of Kyzyl-Orda, where they impeached Chairman of Cooperative of Apartment Owners “Evrika” Marat Kuanyshbayev.
Marat Kuanyshbayev thought that television channel “Kogam TV” and newspaper “KOMU?” CHTO?” disseminated misleading and discredited information with regard to him. On a trial plaintiff said that after publication of materials everyone flipped him off and called him rascal. Now, he can not find a job. Defendants should recover KZT20000000 (1USD=152.31) and publish a disclaimer. The clip-refutation should be presented on-air of television channel “Kogam TV” within a week at five times per day.

The representative of employing company, where plaintiff was dismissed supposedly from publication of these materials, he exposed on a trial that M. Kuanyshbayev was dismissed for a different reasons.
