Head of newspaper "Ashyk Alan" ("Tribune") afraids of provocative acts on part of security agencies

The Engage Project Director "Gazeta "Ashyk Alan" ("Tribune") Zhanbolat Mamay has made a statement. This statement was written and sent to the Chairman of Committee of National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurtay Abykayev, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kalmukhanbet Kasymov and Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbayev. Zhanbolat Mamay afraided of provocations with regard to him.
In his statement, Mamay has given some facts which he considered as a pressure upon him and his family. For a example it was a patrol of policemen and plain-clothes security people near house, where Mamay lived and strange visits of policemen to his house. The law-enforcement agents attended and continued to attend houses of his pen-friends, friends and relatives. They should cooperate with security agencies and provide information on activity of Zhanbolat Mamay, on financing of the newspaper "Tribune" and his plans of political and journalistic activity.
In his statement, Mamay has stated that he did not commit criminally punished and illegal actions; he had been out of drugs, did not peddle drugs and also, did not drive the car. He has said that if there were some provocations with regard to him in future days and weeks, he would think that it was done upon a request of the state authority, or sordid revenge of heroes of publication of newspaper "Ashyk Alan" ("Tribune").
