Court has suspended publication of newspaper "Pravda Kazakhstana" during three months

On February 21, 2013 Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court of Almaty has considered the protocol of administrative offence of Department of Internal Policy of Akimat (District Administration) of Almaty which was made up on February 20, 2013 with regard to owner of the newspaper "Pravda Kazakhstana" – public association "Kommunisticheskaya Partiya Kazakhstana".
According to this document, party has committed administrative offence, it published newspaper "Pravda Kazakhstana" from October 30, 2012 to February 19, 2013 at intervals of 2-5 weeks under stated periodicity once a week. The First Secretary of Communist Party Gaziz Aldamdarov has explained that within specified time, five issues of the edition were not published because of problems with finances, they were arisen in connection with suspension of the activity of party.
The court has pleaded the public association"Kommunisticheskaya Partiya Kazakhstana" guilty in committment of administrative offence on p.4 under article 342 of Code of Administrative Violations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and imposed administrative penalty in the form of a fine of one hundred and fifty monthly assessment indices and suspension of publication of newspaper during three months.
