Bailiffs automatically took edition of newspaper "Obtscestvennaya Positsiya" during seizure of edition of newspaper "Azat"

On December 04, 2012 editor-in-chief of newspaper "Golos Respubliki" Tatiana Trubacheva in Department for Execution of Judicial Acts of Almaty has met with bailiff Meldeyev. She was interested in reasons of seizure of newspaper "Azat" from newsvendors on Friday. The newspaper "Azat" – is an individual and legally published edition and there are no any restrictions with regard to its distribution.
The bailiff explained that the newspaper was seized, according to rule of Medeu District Court of Almaty, dated 21 November 2012, it was issued by judge Beysenova with regard to the newspaper "Golos Respubliki". The editor-in-chief of newspaper "Golos Respubliki" Tatiana Trubacheva has advanced arguments that there was no any word about newspaper "Azat" in ruling on ban on issue and distribution of this edition. Mister Meldeyev replied that the ruling had information that the other means of periodical and continuous public distribution of this edition, including Internet-resources.
On November 30, 2012, during a seizure of newspaper "Azat", bailiffs automatically seized a part of edition and other independent newspaper "Obtscestvennaya Positsiya". Editorial staff of the newspaper have accounted number of illegally seized copies; they filed a claim with General Prosecutor's Office of Almaty.
