Journalist Lukpan Akhmedyarov and newspaper "Uralskaya Nedelya" shall recover KZT 10000000 more

The Assistant Akim (Governor) of Terekti District of West Kazakhstan Oblast Abzal Braliev has filed a suit against journalist L. Akhmedyarov and newspaper "Uralskaya Nedelya" about protection of honour, dignity and business reputation to court №2 of Uralsk. The charges originated from article “History repeats twice” which was published in the newspaper "Uralskaya Nedelya" on July 27, 2012. The survived witness of murder of famous sportsman Oralbek Kuzhageldin (he was killed thirteen years ago) has recognized three criminal participants among the present state officials of oblast. He called Abzal Braliev, the Head of Akim's (Governor's) Office of Taskalinsk District Baurzhan Imashev and Officer of Finance Police of West Kazakhstan Arman Kozhakhmetov.
A. Braliev has asked to impact defendants on publication of a disclaimer and recover KZT10000000 (1USD=150.30) from editorial staff and journalist as moral damage compensation in solidary order.
In August, the Officer of Department for Economic and Corruption-Related Crimes (West Kazakhstan Oblast) Arman Kozhakhmetov has filed a suit against Lukpan Akhmedyarov and newspaper about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation to Uralsk City Court; he demanded KZT3000000 (1USD=150.30) as moral damage compensation.
Lukpan Akhmedyarov and newspaper “Uralskaya Nedelya” shall recover KZT5000000 (1USD=150.30) to the Ex-Head of Department of Internal Policy of Oblast Akimat (District Administration) Tlekkabyl Imashev as moral damage compensation, according to rule which was made by Board of Appeals of West Kazakhstan Oblast on October 02, 2012.
