Beaten journalist Ularbek Baitalak will have to spend at least month in hospital

The Acting Department Manager of Research and Development Center of Traumatology and Orthopaedy (Astana) Olzhas Bekarysov said that Ularbek Baitalak had suffered a severe head injury, a deep chest wound, a split lip and several broken teeth. Further tests are being carried out to determine the extent of any internal injuries. He also suffered widespread bruising all mover his body. His unable to move around without help and will have to spend at least a month in hospital. He has moderate state.
The photographer of newspaper "Ult Times" Zangar Karimkhan said that Ularbek was attacked by four unidentified persons. Zangar Karimkhan has provided words of Ularbek Baitalak.
-Baitalak is a master of sport of close fight; two, or three persons can not overcome him. On August 07, 2012, they hit him violently on the head by heavy thing; four men approached him from behind. He fell down and when Baitalak came to himself, one of attackers said that he did not fall down. Despite his weak condition, he proposed them to fight mannishly. One of attackers said that he was at deaths door and did not close his mouth. Attackers jumped on Ularbek with both feet. Someone, kicked him in the head; after that Ularbek did not remember anything.
Criminals stole his suit, the documents he was carrying and his cell phone, as well as KZT50000 (1USD=149.35).
