Servicemen of LLP "KT TAT Credit" has filed a suit against editorial staff of newspaper "Vremya" and Gennadiy Benditskiy about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation to court of Zhetysu District of Almaty. Plaintiffs demanded the publication of disclaimer of untruth information and recovery of KZT four billiards as moral damage compensation.
The charges originated from article "On Horgoss Count" by G. Benditskiy, published in the newspaper "Vremya" on November 24, 2011.
Editorial staff of the newspaper "Vremya" in their turn asked court to dismiss the suit of plaintiff in full volume. They had concrete documents with truth information. Specialists of LLP "KT TAT Credit" failed to take into account changes in Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (in particular, changes in Civil Code, during 2011), legal entities were deprived of demand, related to moral damage compensation.
Editorial staff of the newspaper "Vremya" has published materials, devoted to the investigation of high-profile criminal case (in particular "Horgos Case") repeatedly. Last time they published material related to this case on May 03, 2012.
