There was a final trial against acting editor-in-chief of newspaper "Akmolinskie Novosti" Oksana Matasova (she was charged with libel) in Kokshetau.
The Private Prosecutor, President of Public Association "Center of the Development of Modern Journalism", editor of the newspaper "Kurs" Marina Rybalko and her lawyer Nikitin did not come to next legal proceeding on April 05, 2012. First, they referred to illness of Rybalko, second, conduction of arrangements within scope of Public Association "Center of the Development of Modern Journalism". The Judge of Kokshetau City Court A. Zhumabekov thought that these arguments have been ungrounded. He has made a rule to suspend the criminal prosecution, with regard to journalist O. Matasova.
Noteworthy, surname Rybalko and edition, which was headed by her was not menitioned in publication.
