KNB- agents detained servicemen of newspaper “Golos Respubliki”

Editorial staff of the newspaper “Golos Respubliki” informed that, in the morning on March 28, 2012, journalist Irene Mednikova and the Head of Department of Distribution Julia Kozlova were detained as they left their houses.
Irene Mednikova has received a summon from security officers. She was sent to the Department of Committee of National Security. Irene Mednikova could only call to editorial office. She was unable to say about the details. Editorial staff of the newspaper “Golos Respubliki” did not know about the reasons of her detention.
Her mobile phone was switched off, probably, Irene Mednikova has been interrogated.
Julia Kozlova was detained, when she sat down in a car to go to editorial office of the newspaper “Golos Respubliki”. She was unable to call to the editorial office; a driver has told about her detention. He did not know about summon, provided for her.
Editorial staff of the newspaper noted that outrageous fact of violation of rights of journalists. They could not to contact with their lawyers.
