International Foundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech “Adil Soz”, Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan and International Organization of Freedom of Expression (IFEX) have made an announcement, related to the open contest of caricatures “Freedom of Speech By Language of Caricature” on the eve of World Press Freedom Day
Journalists and media artists are contest participants. We take caricatures and jests.
There are nominations:
1. Do not lay your own faults at another person’s door
2. Derogated dignity and immoral harm
3. In area of non-frightened journalists
4. The talent was getting harder
5. Sword of Damocles by the Bed of Procrustes
We shall present the diploma and money prize
The best caricatures and jests will be exhibited in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty), published in popular media of Kazakhstan and placed in calendar of 2012-2013.
At the same time, there was a contest of jury candidates.
The works of format А-4 (color and black-white caricatures, or jests) with note “Contest of Caricatures” and surnames of jury candidates would be taken till April 15, 2012. We inform you about our contacts:
