Kazakh security service searched editorial office of newspaper "Golos Respubliki"
Editorial staff of the newspaper "Golos Respubliki" has disseminated a press release. They informed about the search and seizure of office equipment.

The Kazakh security office, or KNB seized computers and office equipment in editorial office of the newspaper "Golos Respubliki" in Almaty.
The deputy editor of the newspaper "Golos Respubliki" Oksana Makushina spoke in defense of Igor Vinyavskiy, imprisoned editor of the independent weekly "Vzglyad" at press conference in national Press Club on January 30, 2012.
Makushina spoke at the press conference along with Vinyavskiy's wife, Lana Vinyavskaya, and lawyer Sergei Utkin. They were also summoned. Lana Vinyavskaya was summoned to those moment. Sergei Utkin has left the country.
On February 01, 2012 Oksana Makushina was summoned by KNB agents from 15.30 to 21.30 p.m.
Makushina has told after the summon: "In general, security service officer, who spoke with her, was interested in initiator of the press conference, place, where they took the order on institution of criminal proceedings with regard to Igor Vinyavskiy, leaflet and a number of leaflets, which were distributed at the press conference. He asked her about the content of leaflet, related to signs of public exhortations for the forcible overthrow of power of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Makushina said that she did not see any public exhortations for the forcible overthrow, or seizure of power in Kazakhstan. Oksana Makushina spoke in defense of Igor Vinyavskiy, imprisoned editor of the independent weekly "Vzglyad" at press conference.
KNB agents asked concrete questions:
Who has shown the leaflet with caption during press conference before journalists? The caption reads: Kyrgyzia got rid of the robbing family of (ousted President Kurmanbek Bakiev). Enough tolerating take (him) to the dumpster!"
"Who did initiate the demonstration of leaflet?"
"Do you know about the content of leaflet with signs forcible overthrow, or seizure of power in Kazakhstan?"
"Who has provided the press release for journalists?"
"Do you think that your statement and dissemination of press release with attached leaflets?"
"Can you call the population to mass riots?"
