On January 20, 2012 Medeu District Court of Almaty has delivered a judgment by suit about protection of honor, dignity, business reputation and recovery of moral damage of Sarybay Kalmurzayev to editor-in-chief of the website www.guljan.org Guljan Ergalieva. It is necessary to place the disclaimer on the website www.guljan.org, Guljan Ergalieva should recover KZT5000000 (1USD=148.44) for Former Head of Financial Police S. Kalmurzayev.
The Former Chairman of the Agency of Struggle for Economic and Corruption Crimes of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Financial Police) Sarybay Kalmurzayev has filed a suit. The charges originated from articles "How Financial Police has been adjusted to raider" and "Order of Kalmurzayev". S. Kalmurzayev has demanded to acknowledge that information discredited his honor and dignity, insisted on placement of a disclaimer on the website www.guljan.org and recovery of KZT10000000 (1USD=148.44) as moral damage compensation.
On December 09, 2011 Medeu District Court of Almaty has partially satisfied the suit of Saltanat Akhanova (a wife of Chief of Financial Police Kayrat Kozhamzharov) to the website www.guljan.org. They should recover KZT5000000 (1USD=148.44) as moral damage compensation.
