Kazakhstan's Internet-users had no access to website www.guljan.org from January 16, 2012. Popular Internet-edition was blocked at 14.40 p.m. It had happened just twenty minutes before press conference of the opposition, where editorial staff of the website www.guljan.org intended to make a review.
The website www.guljan.org. is opened outside of the Republic of Kazakhstan easily. Chief editor of the edition Guljan Ergalieva thinks that the initiator of the blocking is a joint-stock-company "Kazakhtelecom". On January 17, 2012 G. Ergalieva has sent an official letter to the staff of "Kazakhtelecom". She asked to deblock the website immediately, otherwise she would bring an action before the court.
