Temirtau City Court has terminated criminal case with regard to correspondent of the newspaper "Juridicheskaya Gazeta" (Karaganda oblast) Barlyk Almagambetov. He was charged with libel. The Head of Center of Mediation and Law "Dostasu" of Public Association "Sinergiya" Mayia Blaschenko has filed a suit against him. The criminal case has been terminated in connection with withdrawal of accusation and reconciliation of the parties.
The charges originated from article "Is a mediator-machinator?", by Barlyk Almagambetov, published in "Juridicheskaya Gazeta" on October 11, 2011. There was a information on lawyer Svetlana Filatova, who has been in team of mediators from Temirtau. Earlier, criminal proceedings have been instituted against her more than once.
