Film crew of video portal "Stan" was detained by unknown persons in Zhanaozen

Earlier, a film crew of video portal "Stan" (in particular, camera man Paul Engelgardt and freelance journalist Kanat Bukenov) was detained on January 11, 2012 in Zhanaozen. During their detention they called to the editorial office and inform about it. It was impossible to collect information on persons, who detained the film crew, because their telephones were switched off.
Employees of information video portal "Stan" (Almaty) have said about details of their detention. The film crew was detained by traffic policemen on exit from Zhanaozen. The film crew has been released after scrutiny and detailed checkout of equipment (in particular, video camera) in about an hour.
