Newspaper has been on verge of bankruptsy according to judgment

On December 08, 2011 Almaty District Court of Astana has delivered a judgment by suit of Ex-Deputy of Majilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Romin Madinov to owners and editorial staff of the newspaper "Obschestvennaya Positsiya". Acting Editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Obschestvennaya Positsiya" Bakhytgul Makimbay, journalist Zhumabike Zhunusova; owner of the newspaper IE "Zher-Ana" and co-founder LLP "Agro-Astana" Vladimir Chalyshev should publish a disclaimer of untruth information and recover KZT5000000 (1USD=148.08) as moral damage compensation.
There was a publication of article "Roma is a business deputy" by Zhumabike Zhunusova in the newspaper "Obschestvennaya Positsiya" on September 15, 2011. This article has been made by materials of press conference of Vladimir Chalyshev. After publication of article Romin Madinov has filed a suit against V. Chalushev about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation. Then, he has supplemented his suit, included in number of plaintiffs, acting editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Obschestvennaya Pozitsiya" ("Dat") Bakhytgul Makimbay and owner of the newspaper of IE "Zher-Ana" demanded the recovery of KZT500000000 (1USD=148.08).
The charges originated from articles such as, "Roma is a business deputy" (dated on September 14, 2011), "Raider in the name of mandate" (dated on October 19, 2011) and "CEC has extended the term of Madinov's office" (dated on October 26, 2011). R. Madinov thought that there was an untruth information, discrediting his honor, dignity and business reputation. He asked the recovery of KZT500000000 (1USD=147.64) as moral damage compensation. There was an addition to complaint. R. Madinov thought that these articles have been a revenge of Bakhytgul Makimbay for newspaper "Taszhargan" (in 2009, it should be closed after court decision, it should recover KZT30000000 by his suit about protection of honor and dignity.
