The Head of Department of Employment and Social Program (Almaty) Amira Kulmakhanova has filed a suit about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation to the newspaper“Obschestvennaya Positsyia” and servicemen of social organizations (Almaty) Lubov Khasanova and Lubov Shvetsova to Bostandyk District Court on October 13, 2011.
The charges originated from article “Ghost employees of authority”, published on July 06, 2011. There was a letter of the staff of social organizations fro Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There were facts of pressure, prosecution, unlawful actions, suppression, self-will and outrage.
Plaintiff has expressed his disagreement, relating to publication of untruth information, which discredited his business reputation. He has insisted on publication of a disclaimer and recovery of KZT1000000 (1USD= 147.91) as moral damage compensation; asked Lubov Khasanova and Lubov Shvetsova to refute the distributed information on television channel “KTK” (earlier, they gave an interview on July 14, 2011).
