The Chief Editor of the newspaper"Alma-Ata Info" Ramazan Esergepov continues to serve his sentence in "colony of standard regime 158/2" of Taraz. Administration of colony has dismissed short term exit from the territory of a colony for convicted editor-in-chief of newspaper "Alma-Ata Info" Ramazan Esergepov. Ramazan Esrgepov asked about it for the reason that his mother has been seriously ill. The Assistant Chief of Criminal and Correction System (Zhambyl oblast) Amirulla Oralbayev said that condemned, who continued to serve their sentence in "colony of standard regime" had no right to a leave. The prisoner has a right to leave, if he is in colony-settlement.

Esergepov has given an application for imposition of a penalty several times. But, the administration of the colony has dissmised it. On January 12, 2010 the administration of the colony has dismmissed him in release on a parole, on January 26, 2010 in transfer to the colony-settlement, on July 13, 2010 and on August 04, 2010 in substitution of unserved part of punishment for other and on August 11, 2011 in release on a parole. Each time, with explanation "he has not taken the path of correction".
