Cassational claim of the editorial staff of newspaper "Vzglyad", relating to judgment of Bostandyk District Court has been examined in City Court of Almaty on July 01, 2011. It was connected with recovery of KZT15000000 (1USD=145.71) to former surgeon of city hospital Adil Keldybayev and publication of a disclaimer of untruth information.
Court has made reconciliation efforts of parties.
Editorial staff of the newspaper has provided a place in newspaper for Keldybayev to publish his point of view. Surgeon Adil Keldybayev has expressed his perfect willingness to withdraw a suit, if editorial staff of the newspaper should recover KZT15000000 (1USD=145.71) as moral damage compensation.
Court has delivered a judgment, relating to suit of surgeon. Editorial staff of the newspaper "Vzglyad" should publish a disclaimer of untruth information and recover KZT15000000 (1USD=145.71) as moral damage compensation and his former patient Dmitriy Danilov should recover KZT50000.
Appeal Instance of City Court of Almaty has affirmed the decision.
Editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Vzglyad" Igor Vinyavskiy said that Adil Keldybayev has expressed his perfect willingness to destroy newspaper. It was a grand and wasted amount for the newspaper and editorial staff.
