Results of contest "On Scales of Justice" of court reporters have been resumed

Results of contest "On Scales of Justice" for the best court material have been resumed on the eve of Day of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was carried out by Union of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and International Foundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech "Adil Soz".
Courts have provided their archives for contest participants for the first time in history of Kazakhstan's independence. There were 63 materials from newspapers and one television report. Independent jury has rated these materials, acccording to next criteria:observance of key signs of style of court material, competency of author in legal sphere and gauge of original mastery.
Correspondent of the newspaper "Vremya" of Zhambyl oblast Galina Vybornova took the first place, journalist of the newspaper "ZAN" of Almaty Karayeva Sholpangul took the second place; news person of the newspaper "Munayly Astana" of Atyrau Smadiyar Kuttygerey took the third one.
Correspondent of the newspaper "Oko" Tatiana Koretskaya from Shymkent, journalist of the newspaper "Temirtauskiy Rabochiy" Elena Kulakova and newsperson of the newspaper "Aktobe Times" Julia Minina from Aktobe have been awarded by incentive diplomas.
Contest organizers have said that "June 27" would be traditional one on press conference, relating to awarding of winners.
