- Policemen of Zhanaozen have detained film crew of video portal "Stan.kz", correspondent Timur Ermashev and camera man Baurzhan Idrisov. On June 12, 2011 they made news item about the strike of workers of production branch “OzenMunayGaz”.
- Producer of video portal "Stan.kz" Asel Limzhanova said that policemen took certificate of identification and video camera. They prohibited to make a video record from mobile phones, otherwise film crew would be punished administratively for the defiance and “provocative actions”.
- Correspondent Timur Ermashev and camera man Baurzhan Idrisov have been in police office during some hours.
- Lawyer of video portal "Stan.kz" has called to department of internal affairs (Mangistau oblast). Policemen have released the film crew and apologized.
