Court has dismissed opening of criminal case against journalist Alena Pankova

On June 13, 2011 Karaganda Oblast Court has reexamined criminal case. Journalist Alena Pankova has been charged with libel. It affirmed the judgment of district court and dismissed an appeal.

Director of LLP "Gashydroel" Danyar Tazhin has addressed an appeal to Karaganda Prosecutor's Office. After that the rule of Octyabr District Court of Karaganda, related to disclaimer of opening of criminal case against Alena Pankova (she was charged with libel) has been dismissed.
